By completing a booking, you are committing to attend the course and accept the following terms and conditions ;

Cancellations : You may cancel for a refund (minus a 10% booking fee) or rearrange onto another course up to two weeks before. Cancellation within 2 weeks will incur a £30 admin fee.

For cancellations within 36 hours of the course, or non attendance on the day, the course fee will not be refunded

If, for extenuating circumstances we have to cancel a course, we will refund your money in full

We have the right to cancel a course if they aren't enough bookings, You will receive a full refund or a transfer to another course or date. We will give you a minimum of 7 days notice if we have to cancel a course

Your commitment - You are expected to bring your own camera. Along with a memory card with plenty of space, fully charged batteries, spares or a charger and your manual (if you have it and you're a beginner)

You are responsible for insuring your camera equipment while on the course. Whats the Focal Point will not entertain any claims for loss or damage howsoever caused

Please dress according to the environment, sensible shoes are particularly important 

Under 18s - We have DBS Clearance and ask the parent or guardian to send us signed confirmation. For insurance purposes, we prefer minors to be accompanied by an adult but this is not always necessary, please get in touch to discuss

Accessibility - Participants with access requirements or BSL are very welcome. But some courses are more suitable than others. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we will endeavour to accommodate you

Each venue is risk assessed and there will be a short health & safety briefing at the beginning of each course. As some of our venues and locations involve rough terrain and walking, we assume that every participant is fit and healthy enough for the activity

What's the Focal Point does not accept responsibility for death, injury or illness caused to a participant whilst on a course unless this can be proven to have arisen from negligence on the part of What's the Focal Point. Any claims are subject to English law in respect of any question of liability and any proceedings dealt with in the English courts
